Story-led content for home, garden, craft and lifestyle brands.
I’m the maker behind Whitewood & Linen, where 53,500 people follow along with my upcycling, slow stitching and make-do-and-mend tutorials. Everything I make starts with something that already exists: old buttons, worn linen, a book past its best. I film it all from my workroom in Sussex, and I’d love to show you a little of it.
I create authentic films and photography which feel natural, timeless and relatable, helping brands connect with their audience through both organic social content and paid advertising. Filmed in my home, garden and creative studio, my work celebrates the beauty of everyday moments and the products which quietly become part of them.
With years of experience creating engaging online content and building a loyal community, I combine thoughtful storytelling with a calm, considered aesthetic to produce content that builds trust, inspires action and leaves a lasting impression.
Six short films, so you can see how I work
Each one is a real tutorial, filmed and made by me. Between them they cover buttons, stitch, paper, fabric and bookbinding, because my audience follows the making, not any one material.
This one has been watched 461,000 times and brought 7,505 new followers with it. Old buttons, a length of cord and an afternoon.
This is me. If we work together, this is the face and voice your customers will meet.
Slow stitching is the craft I'm best known for, and the one I teach. Layers of old fabric, simple stitches, and no hurry at all..
Saved 5,856 times, one save for every 32 people who watched.
Fabric, scissors and scraps worth keeping. My tutorials are built around materials, which makes them a natural home for the right product.
From this spring: 137,000 views in its first ninety days. The audience is still growing, and still watching.
My audience
Almost all of my audience are women: 98%, and three quarters are over 55. A third are in America and a quarter in Britain. They read their emails, they finish tutorials, and when they buy, nine times out of ten they pay full price. It’s an audience many brands find hard to reach through creators, and it’s the one I talk to every day.
NOTE: three of the films above are Christmas makes. My audience starts saving Christmas tutorials in the summer, so if you’re planning Autumn and Christmas campaigns now, that’s the work they share most.
